Jammin'
Mash-ups in music are popular. This is my mash-up in art of two of my teachers/inspirations: Jane Davenport and Tamara Laporte. Put their two names together "Ja" and "Tam" and we end up with "Jammin'!"


Quirky Birds
Going out on a limb here...Ha! Tamara Laporte is famous for her Quirky Animals. This is my take, called "Quirky Birds." I spent a long time on the bark with little tiny seeds. Hope you enjoy their expressions!


Snake Charmer
One of my favorite finds in Life Book 16 with Tamara Laporte was meeting Wyanne Thompson - she taught a class called "Your Normal is not Normal." It was the first time I used egg shells in a piece.....you should check her out!!!!


Bunny Girl
So now I'm in the throes of taking all these great classes from teachers online. I love online courses because I would never get access to these folks otherwise. One online course I'm taking is called Paint Your Heart and Soul 2017. This is a great picture of Aaron with the Ronstadt Generations Y Los Tucsonenses band that played a few weeks ago here in Newburyport. They were amazing. This is special because he is the first person to drink out of this mug.....which was a gift from the Von Trapp Children singers!!!! I think of them often.....fond memories.
