Jumping right in...

WELCOME! I put this blog together with a dear friend to share my artwork and all that I am learning as I pursue my passion. My goal is to help inspire others to do what makes them happy and to sow creative seeds far and wide.

I haven't gotten this far on my own - I've had incredible teachers, such as Jane Davenport and many others. I have traveled to Mexico City, North Carolina & Italy to study with Jane, whom I admire as a seasoned artist. (I admit it: I am an avid "Davenpeep"!)

In the next few weeks, I will post a video of my mermaid book, which was made in North Carolina at Donna Downey's studio, and my Italy work is soon to follow. Please visit me virtually and feel free to add your 2 cents in the comments below.

Now for some fun stuff: I just turned 60!! I hosted a fantastic Beatles-themed party with my crazy friends and family, and even had a phenomenal bluegrass band called The Lonely Heartstring Band.

I'm creating my art and building an online presence to push myself into new areas. They say that innovating keeps you alive. At this milestone, I am eager to try things that will generate positive energy and urge you to do the same.
